Looking back on a spiritual journey with the Divine Mother - March 19th tot 27th
Chaitra Navratri at the IVS Varanasi Ashram
All were welcome to join us for Chaitra Navaratri 2026 in the new ashram of IVS Varanasi. From the 19th of March, nine nights and ten days were dedicated to honoring the divine feminine energy embodied in the Godess Durga. On each night of this vibrant festival one of nine forms of Ma Durga was celebrated, all having its unique significance and transformative power.
They became beautiful days of devotion and transformation with the Divine Mother. With many people from Varanasi and the whole of Uttar Pradesh coming to the ashram for a journey of immersion in the energy and worshipping of Ma, accompanied by Durga Puja, chanting of vedic mantras, and satsang. All alternated with performances of dance and the singing of Bajan's. Her presence became so palpaple and alive. The last day was concluded with the beautiful Dashami Sindoor Khela (see homepage for those photos and videos)
We look back on beautiful days and thank all that have participated.
