With deep sorrow, we inform you all that Revered Veer Mataji, who was serving as the In-charge of the Saradeshwari Tapovan (the first women's ashram of the International Vedanta Society and which was situated in Varanasi) and the General Secretary of the Female Wing of International Vedanta Society, has departed for the Divine Abode on the 2nd of March'26.

In her pre-monastic life, She was born into a respected Marathi Brahmin family. With profound renunciation, devotion, and dedication to Bhagavan, she offered her entire life in the service of Bhagavan and humanity.

Veer Mataji generously donated the entire building of the Saradeswari Tapovan to the International Vedanta Society. Her significant contribution also stands firmly behind the development of the Vedanta Bhavan in Varanasi. Her tireless efforts, sincerity, and spirit of selfless service will forever remain an inspiration to all.

We pray for eternal peace for the noble soul.
